Does anyone happen to know if WinRoute will work on Windows XP?
I really don't want to go through the upgrade process, only to find out that I won't have any internet access...
Thanks in advance, Matthew.

I tried this upgrade and I got so frustrated getting everything else to work, that I just gave up and bought a whole new machine just for WinRoute (running on Win2K). Unless you want to little gizmos to play around with on your screen, your wait for upgrading to XP may be well worth it. Check with the Tiny folks ... I'm personally just waiting for them to make a public annoucement! :)

Thanks. I asked Tiny, and they told me that official support would be forthcoming in December. In the meantime, they said it might work, but it was unsupported, and they also gave me a registry setting to change to get it to work.
But I'm holding off 'til next month...

Hi - No Problem; here it is:
<From an email from tinysoftware to me>
-------------------------------------------8<---------------------------------------------
Hi Matthew,
WinRoute won't officially support Windows XP until version 5 of
WinRoute is released in December. You can try the following but due note
that this has not been fully tested:
1. Stop the WinRoute engine. Right click on the WinRoute engine monitor
and choose stop WinRoute engine.
2. Open up the registry editor. In Windows click on the Start button
go to "Run" type in "regedit" click OK
3. Expand "HKEY Local Machine / Software / Tinysoftware /
WinRoute"
4. Find the key "EnableUnsupportedSystems" and modify the key
from 0 to 1
Note: The above registry key is only available in build 29 of WinRoute
