Well this question has been on my mind for quite some time, so I decided to post it for those concerned about internet privacy: Which firewall offers better protection for Mac's? There isn't much choice really. DoorStop/Norton and NetBarrier. I don't think DoorStop really prevents anything, it can be probably easily bypassed. NetBarrier
seems to be a good choice, but it can slow down the surfing and also prevent some pg's from loading, precisely because they can't read the user. I contacted Intego about this and they say that lowering the security level should help.
I would appreciate any info on the subject, also some info from anyone using IPNet Sentry, how does it work.
Thanks
Lee Bosh
